Quality Systems Technology Intern

This internship is a hands on, immersive program designed to provide students with the exposure, experience and development needed to launch a successful career at CONMED. This team’s work is crucial in ensuring that our products are accessible to our health care customers around the world. We are seeking a dynamic and driven engineering student to join the team for a Quality Technology internship during Summer 2024.

 

As a Quality Systems Technology Intern, you will gain exposure to CONMED’s Quality System, ISO 13485 standards, risk management, test methods, validation, and enterprise solutions. You will develop operations business acumen, and skills such as requirement collection and analysis, problem solving through user experience feedback, and solution development and architecture.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for a student seeking a robust internship within a growing international medical device company with multiple manufacturing and design sites across the U.S.

 

Intern Responsibilities:

Convert business workflows and reporting requirements into technical specifications.

Plan and execute model based application development including validation of the developed technology.

Work with the program management to support architecture needs, project teams, functional and technical analysts to design solution architecture that meets scalable operational requirements.

Work with internal and external program technical resources and assist in developing technical and functional changes associated with projects.

Position Requirements:

Pursuing completion of a bachelors or master’s Information Technology or Computer Science degree, with a focus on Development Architecture, System Integration and/or Architecture or System Administration preferred.

Must be available to work onsite out of the Largo, FL facility, Monday – Friday throughout the summer internship program (May 20 – July 26, 2024)

 

Expected travel 0-20%

As a CONMED intern, you will receive competitive compensation and holiday pay.

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $19.00 - $31.00. The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level. The hourly pay rate range is CONMED’s good faith belief at the time of this posting
