2023-2024 CNE Business & Commercial Intern

CNE Hydrogen Intern Job Description:

 

Performs work for the Chevron New Energies organization to which these students or recent graduates are assigned.

 

Supports clients/customers and assists with projects under regular supervision. Has a general knowledge of the work and industry.

 

 

Hydrogen Products Development Program (HPP) Internship:
Hydrogen Products internships consist of a mix of projects and partner engagement experiences. Program participants will spend time working on a high-impact project for a commercial support function such as value chain analysis and customer development. In addition to the summer project, interns will have the opportunity to learn more about the low carbon Hydrogen and Ammonia industry and Chevron's strategy in the New Energies organization and industry. The intern will also be exposed to external partner meetings with experienced Chevron business development employees. All experiences offer unique opportunities to learn about the transition to a lower carbon industry and how Chevron is executing its strategy.

 


Required Qualifications:

Students pursuing a bachelor's degree in the following areas:

Engineering

Sales

Finance

Management

Marketing

Supply Chain Management or related majors

 


Preferred Qualifications:

Strong desire to pursue a career in business development/ commercial functions.

Strong interest in renewable fuels, hydrogen, carbon capture, carbon offsets and other emerging technologies

Self-starter with aptitude and interest in interacting with stakeholders daily

Demonstrate creativity, initiative, adaptability, and collaboration skills.

Understand the importance and demonstrate diversity awareness.

Exhibit leadership potential and maturity

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $22.50/hourly - $5,500/monthly. The selected candidate’s compensation will be determined based on their skills, experience, and qualifications.
