Chemours is seeking an End User Support Summer Intern to join our IT team! This position will report directly to the Global End User Computing Leader.  

 

As an End User Support Summer Intern, you will have the opportunity to be involved in providing top tier customer support to Chemours employees, contractors and partners.   

 

In this role, you are a customer ambassador.  You will ensure that customers’ needs are identified, documented, and resolved in a timely manner.  You will gain a basic understanding of multiple IT systems, including PC, Network Infrastructure, Security and Applications. You will also learn how to recommend process improvements to ensure the end user receives a positive experience.      

 

Effective candidates will have the ability to communicate with impact, have excellent problem-solving skills, and be customer-centered.  

 

Location: Wilmington, DE 

Hours: Regular full-time schedule of 40 hours per week 

Term:  May-August 2023 

 

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: 

Providing technical support of computer hardware and software (inclusive of mobile phones) by diagnosing and resolving issues, performing upgrades, deploying new computers, and supporting inventory management responsibilities 

Utilizing 1desk ticketing management system to manage new incidents, requests and inquiries 

Utilizing IT Support operating procedures, global knowledgebase, and process workflows 

Creating training and education documentation, as well as educating employees on processes and procedures 

 

the following is required for this role: 

Current enrollment at an accredited university as a Sophomore or above 

Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or similar field of study  

Advanced technical knowledge in the support of desktop/pcs and other employee peripherals including Office 365 Product Suite, Microsoft Operating Systems, and Print Services 

 

The following is preferred for this role

Experience with SharePoint and/or Microsoft Teams 

Previous internship experience in Information Technology 

3.0 GPA or above
