Talent Recruitment and Development Intern

Summary:

The Talent Recruitment and Development Intern will work under the supervision of the Chief Talent Recruitment and Development Officer to assist with the coordination and execution of in-service days, job fair recruitment,  as well as other talent management initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain a thorough understanding of talent acquisition and development within a dynamic organization.
 

Qualifications:

• Current student or recent graduate with long term interest in talent recruitment and learning and development. 
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/Google Suite
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to work at least 15 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• In-Service Day Support: Assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of our April 1st Real World Learning in-service days for faculty and staff. 
• Assist the CTRDO in the promotion of Shady Side at local job and career fairs
• Conduct research on upcoming professional development opportunities that faculty and staff can make applications to. 
• Attend and participate in the coordination of first year faculty workshops. 
• Assist with the coordination and scheduling of interviews for faculty and staff candidates across the four divisions. 
• Contribute to social media campaigns aimed at employer branding and talent attraction, under the guidance of the CTRDO.
• Additional Tasks: Perform other related duties as required, including special projects assigned by the CTRDO.
