Camp Counselor

We are looking for motivated students and individuals who want to join us for the summer season in 2024 as camp counselors.  Do you want to have a meaningful impact on others, join a team that creates lasting connections and friendships, then summer camping is what you are looking to participate in.  Being a counselor creates and shapes moments that children will have with them the rest of their lives.

Counselors are not just individuals who sit around a pool and relax all day.  We are looking for people who want to have fun, be active, teach their skills, hobbies, crafts to children who are willing, want to learn and get better.  

What do our counselors do:

-Camp Counselors are individuals who are living with children in cabins and oversee children in those cabins for parts of the day and then go out to teach activities and participate in a daily schedule.

-In the evenings, we have a number of different activities that take place that counselors will organize into teams or go with their cabins.  Some of these evening activities are physical and some are more artistic or performative.

-Overall, counselors are providing supervision to children and are there to assist children to learn, be more sociable, and be responsible for their decision making.

What are we looking for:

• Dates: June 15 through August 17, 2024 (Dates are flexible, contact us to talk, but we are looking for at least 7 weeks commitment)
• Individuals who want to move and be active in a schedule that features daily and evening activities.
• Individuals who can and want to work with children and others similar age and older.  Be very sociable.
• Willing to teach and instruct children in a particular skill or hobby you have.
