Position Description:

Alcon is seeking a motivated and analytical intern to help digitize and streamline the USVC Professional Educational and Development team’s operational processes. This project will require a full understanding of all the aspects of the process, pain points and desires with a focus on finding the efficiencies, creating organizational tracking tools and relaying key metrics and reports to ensure transparent, compliant and efficient procedures are maintained. The improvements of this project will have a positive impact for cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, senior leadership, compliance, the meetings and events team and our consulting eye care professionals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner and collaborate with key stakeholders to understand pain points and desires of sales leadership, marketing, meetings and events team, compliance and other key stakeholders
  • Gain knowledge of the program creation and tracking processes/systems seeking digitization, efficiencies, and reports for tracking
  • Gain knowledge of all the types of engagements and produce tracking documents that can be updated weekly
  • Coordinate with Data Analyst to create perpetual ROI reports that can be utilized by leadership during QBRs
  • Create a Tableau dashboard tracking budget per program and ECP usage

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited university or college for at least one semester prior to internship or co-op, and at least one additional semester following internship or co-op. Must be pursuing at least a bachelor’s level degree in Project Management, Information Management, Systems Management, Computer Science or related major.
  • Academic performance: Minimum cumulative GPA 2.8/4.0
  • Demonstrated leadership skills (i.e. extracurricular activities or projects)
  • Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship (students on an F1 visa with CPT can be accommodated)
  • Ability to commit to a full time (40 hrs. per week).
