Pharmacy Internship ( TN, AL, GA, NC, SC, FL)

As a Pharmacy Intern, you play a critical role in delivering our purpose and providing genuine care for our patients. You will have the opportunity to progress and develop through our ExperienceRx program while assisting the Pharmacy team in ensuring an excellent patient experience. Under the supervision of a Preceptor and in compliance with state law, your responsibilities will include:

 

 • Participating in all aspects of the prescription filling process

 • Providing patient counseling

 • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care

 • Offering health screenings and immunizations when appropriate

 • Providing exceptional customer service 

• Ensuring patient safety

 • Assisting Pharmacy Patients and Front Store customers with questions

 • Practicing pharmacy professionally 

• Complying with regulatory requirements 

• Managing inventory A key aspect of your role as a Pharmacy Intern is to contribute to patient care programs and prioritize the health of your customers and patients. In addition, you will: 

• Display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues.

 • Motivate and inspire your Pharmacy Team to deliver excellent patient care.

 • Identify business opportunities and contribute to meaningful solutions for growth and performance improvement.

Compensation The typical pay range for this role is between $16.00 - $22.00 per hour. The actual base salary offer will depend on factors such as year in pharmacy school, geography, and other relevant considerations.
