University Relations – Associate Enterprise Data Analyst Intern
This ten-week paid internship can be located in Chicago, IL, Naperville, IL or Richardson, TX.
What are your responsibilities?
The internship program within the Enterprise Technology Solutions team recruits qualified candidates who are interested in gaining hands-on experience with analytics and have a unique opportunity to explore those skills within the healthcare industry. Interns will be assigned to engagements where they become fully integrated in the teams’ processes, including but not limited to application architect, solutions architect, or data architect to translate requirements into functional / technical specs. You will also support the data engineers in serving business customers, perform data profiling as part of understanding data and structures and participate in strategy discussions to assist in both innovation and strategy development. As an associate enterprise data analyst Intern, you will leverage your skillset to help our team create value added healthcare analytics capabilities.

- Oral & written communication skills
- Basic knowledge of SDLC (systems development life cycle) / Iterative / Agile / Scrum development is preferred.
- Experience in requirements management and/or prototyping
- Knowledge of system architecture is a plus.
- Knowledge of big data and analytical technologies is a plus.
- Knowledge of data processing environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of Agile project management is a plus.
- Moderate skillset in Microsoft Office, such as Excel and PowerPoint
What Are the Requirements You Must Meet?
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information technology, or a related field
- Graduation date between December 2024 and June 2025
- A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
- Availability to work 10 weeks during the summer.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States (Currently, we are not offering this position with a student visa including F1, OPT, CPT or H1B and are not accepting or sponsoring student work visas for this role)
