Indiana Technical Center with locations in Noblesville & Kokomo, Indiana. This position’s primary location is Kokomo Technical Center.

Job Purpose

BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as a Manufacturing Resource Planner.  The Manufacturing Resource Planner is responsible for analysing all the resources and costs associated with the manufacturing of our products.

 

Key Responsibilities

      • Support Lean Manufacturing System Design Process

      • Estimate manufacturing costs for new products

      • Determine equipment, headcount, and floorspace for forecasting

      • Estimate manufacturing costs and resources for footprint strategy analyses

      • Support plant capital spending forecasts

 

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or be a graduate from an accredited college
  • GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or B average, upon initial hire date
  • Engineering student (ME, MET, IE, IET, or equivalent)
  • Interest/knowledge in assembly and other types of manufacturing processes
  • High level of analytical abilities, organization and planning skills
  • Self-starter with good networking, communication skills and leadership skills
  • Competent in MS Office software applications; specifically Excel
