STEEL OF WEST VIRGINIA, INC. at 17th St and 2nd Ave (located behind the Weisberg Family Engineering Complex) will be hiring an intern for Human Resources/Benefits.

Qualifications:

We're looking for an undergraduate student with an interest in Human Resources or a student in a Human Resources graduate program with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Candidate must pass a drug screen.

Description:

This Intern position will assist with daily human resource activities including records management, background and reference checking, training/orientations and interaction with employees.

We’re looking for an organized, detail oriented, self-starter with excellent communication and people skills. Past interns have used this experience to gain full time HR and management positions at major employers from Pennsylvania to West Virginia. 

Wages and Hours:

Pay for our interns begins at $16 per hour.  20 - 25 hours per week during school, 40 hours per week available for summers.

Intern can gain great experience by working in a publicly owned manufacturing company.
