2024 Summer Internship | Legal

Format: In Person Monday - Thursday and remote on Fridays

As an intern at our corporate headquarters, you’ll be part of a top-notch global workforce. 

 

Team Overview: 

The corporate legal department supports all aspects of the business across all three brands, including sales & marketing, IT, treasury & finance, development & operations, and HR.  Each lawyer supports numerous different internal departments and also interfaces with corporate development, corporate tax, technical accounting, and audit.

Internship Overview: 

Depending on the needs of the business, legal interns will work with different attorneys to support various business clients with projects, transactions, and contracts.  In particular, it is expected that interns will help structure, negotiate, and draft contracts; research, review, and interpret the requirements of government agencies, laws, statutes, rules, and regulations; and help provide strategic legal advice on a broad range of topics. 

Qualifications: 

• Undergraduate degree in Legal / Law Degree;

• Must be willing to work in South Florida offices from June 3rd – August 9th, 2024

 U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required

• A GPA of 3.2 or higher is preferred, and proven leadership skills either in school or professional experience

 

Knowledge & Skills:

• High level of critical thinking

• Ability to be adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Ability to think strategically, while managing the details

• Ability to apply project management skills to support short-term assignments

• Skills using all Microsoft programs, especially PowerPoint

• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, agendas, and Standard Operation Procedures (SOP)
