Summer 2024 Hospitality and Culinary Internships - Glacier National Park

Create lifelong memories while learning about high-volume hospitality in Glacier National Park!

 

This internship allows interns to gain hands-on experience within either the lodging or food and beverage departments while participating in classes and shadowing hours to learn about other hospitality career paths.

 

To be eligible for this internship, you must:

  • Relocate to Glacier National Park in Montana for the duration of the program
  • Be studying or interested in pursuing a career in the hospitality industry

 

The Details:
Position Type: Seasonal, Full-Time Internship
Season Dates: May 24, 2024-August 23,2024
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities

  • Learn about operations at a high volume resort property
  • Gain hands-on experience in multiple roles within your department
  • Have access to management training opportunities from the course catalog
  • Network with managers and directors in your department
  • Identify some of the challenges and solutions for operating a sustainable hospitality enterprise within a National Park.


Qualifications

  • Must be able to stand for approximately 8 hours
  • Must be able to walk for long periods of time
  • Must be able to push or pull 50-75 pounds and lift up to 30 pounds
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, and reach for extended periods
