2024 Summer Intern – Finance Information Management

The Finance Information Management (FIM) intern is a key member of the team that supports the analytic analysis and delivery for the Accounting CAO organization using data from the SAP S4/HANA platform. The intern will focus on backlog items and priorities from the FIM team and will learn Agile managements tools (Azure Dev Ops) and SAP-centric reporting and analysis tools (Analysis for Office & SAP Analytics Cloud).  The intern will serve as a contributor to gather and analyze requirements from Accounting CAO stakeholders to determine the best approach to eliminate or mitigate operational and reporting risks for the organization. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist with financial reports preparation and analysis
  • Work under supervision of team leaders and other mentors
  • Help with arranging meetings and presentations
  • Research and document accounting information
  • Use database and software for accounting tasks
  • Assist with preparing communications and assist with presentations and related support materials (Excel / Word documents)

Internship Details

  • Hourly rate:  $22/hour
  • Dates:  June 3, 2024 - August 2, 2024
  • Location:  Charlotte, NC 
  • Work Environment:  Flexible (2-3 days per week in the office)

 

Qualifications

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Rising College Senior (Class of 2025)
  • Business Majors with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics or related
  • Understanding of accounting and reporting concepts
  • Proven ability to multi-task while continuing to ensure attention to detail
  • Excellent written/verbal communications and listening skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Power Point, Word, Excel
