Summer 2024 Marketing Internship

Summer Internship Opportunity (paid) 

 

As a Marketing Intern, you will have the exciting opportunity to contribute to the branding of building supplies from renowned brands seen in Lowe's, Home Depot, and other major retailers. You’ll be a key collaborator, working closely with the Marketing Manager and the rest of the marketing team. Together, you'll play an essential role in crafting and executing marketing collateral, social media assets, and various visual materials. In this dynamic and fast-paced setting, you will have the opportunity to gain invaluable hands-on experience and infuse your creative flair into the realm of building supplies. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Content Calendar Management:
  • Ensure that emails, client content, social media and other content are scheduled and sent on time.
  • Email Marketing Support:
  • Schedule and test email campaigns in Pardot, ensuring accurate timing and delivery.
  • Pardot Report Generation:
  • Create and maintain reports in Pardot, summarizing key performance metrics.
  • Provide these reports to the sales team for strategic insights.
  • Project Coordination:
  • Input project milestones, tasks, and deadlines into the team's planner or project management system.
  • Maintain the status of ongoing projects, providing regular updates to the marketing team and stakeholders.
  • Invoicing:
  • Track and monitor the status of invoices, payments, and vendor accounts.
  • Assist in resolving invoicing issues and discrepancies.
  • Budget Tracking:
  • Assist in monitoring marketing expenses and budget allocation.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure spending remains within budgetary limits.
  • Digital Database Management:
  • Label and tag digital assets, such as images and photography, for easy retrieval.
  • Handle image requests from customers and internal teams, ensuring timely and accurate responses.

Qualifications: 

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, taking direction and feedback from the Marketing Manager.

 

Requirements: 

  • Pursuing a degree in Marketing or a related field.

  • Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

 

 

While performing the job duties, the intern may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The work environment may involve exposure to various conditions. The noise level in the work environment can vary. 

 

This program will begin approximately May 13th and will end approximately August 23rd.
