Strategic Business Analyst Intern, Venture Group

Position Description:
The Strategic Business Analyst will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact over 10 weeks contributing to Venture Capital research & acquisition projects as designated by the Vice President of Business Development.

Key Responsibilities:
Work with the Venture Capital team to develop, manage, and communicate Modine’s M&A funnel for venture opportunities to include:

  •  
    • Conduct ongoing market research in focus business areas
    • Opportunity and target identification, profiling and prioritization
    • Modeling, contracting, and deal structuring  
    • Building products as needed for presentation to the executive team to include the CFO & CEO
    • Maintaining strong working relationships with business partners and internal departments
    • Effectively communicating with all levels of management


Required Qualifications:

  • Strategic and creative thinking; distinguished written and verbal communications skills
  • Must have advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge and aptitude to learn new applications quickly
  • Ability to understand and manipulate financial valuation models
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship
  • At least 4 years of relevant professional experience


Education Requirements:
Pursuing MBA degree with relevant finance or accounting coursework and strong academic performance. Completion of two semester of MBA course work by the end of May 2024 with an expected graduation date by the end of May 2025.

Travel:
Ability to travel to Racine, WI and other domestic locations is required.
