Learning Application: The Human Resources Internship at Sports Media, Inc. is designed to provide hands-on experience in managing internship programs and facilitating the SkillBridge hiring process for transitioning military members. Interns will work closely with experienced HR professionals, gaining practical insights into the dynamic and diverse world of human resources within the sports media industry.
Responsibilities:
Internship Program Management:
- Assist in the development and execution of internship programs, including recruitment, onboarding, and mentorship initiatives.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand internship needs and coordinate program logistics.
SkillBridge Hiring Process:
- Facilitate the SkillBridge hiring process for military members transitioning to civilian roles.
- Work closely with DOD SkillBridge representatives and military installations to identify potential candidates.
Social Media Job Placement:
- Utilize social media platforms for talent acquisition and job placement initiatives.
- Develop and implement strategies to reach diverse candidate pools.
Employee Engagement:
- Support employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, events, and recognition programs.
- Assist in fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Learning and Development:
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on HR best practices and industry trends.
- Collaborate with the HR team to understand the unique challenges and opportunities in the sports media industry.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of HR processes and best practices.
- Familiarity with internship program management is a plus.
- Enthusiastic and proactive attitude with a passion for talent acquisition and development.
