Job Description: Sports Media Inc. is seeking a passionate and creative Video Editing and Creation Intern to join our Multimedia and Content Creation team. This internship presents a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a cutting-edge field while contributing to the development of innovative sports content, NIL, TV Shows, and Events.

Video Editing:

  • Edit and enhance video content for various projects, ensuring high-quality production standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Utilize industry-standard video editing software to create compelling and engaging visual stories.

AI Software Integration:

  • Work closely with the team to incorporate new artificial intelligence software into the video creation and editing process.
  • Explore and implement AI tools to enhance the learning experience through innovative multimedia content.

Creative Conceptualization:

  • Brainstorm and contribute creative ideas for video content that align with the company's goals and target audience.
  • Assist in the development of storyboards and scripts for video projects.

Learning and Adaptation:

  • Learn and adapt to new AI technologies that can streamline and enhance the video editing workflow.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in AI-driven content creation.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content creators, designers, and marketing professionals, to ensure cohesive and effective multimedia projects.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute actively to discussions.

Quality Control:

  • Ensure the quality, consistency, and accuracy of all video content produced.
  • Incorporate feedback from team members and make necessary revisions to improve the final product.

Documentation:

  • Document the process of integrating AI software into video editing workflows, creating a resource for future reference.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in [Film Production, Multimedia, Communication, or a related field].
  • Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
  • Strong creative and storytelling skills.
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence concepts is a plus.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Requirements:

  • Current undergraduate majoring in studio arts, marketing/hospitality, business/accounting, art history, communications majors, or any other related field.
  • Knowledge of Zoom for weekly meetings.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Possess multi-tasking and coordination experience.
  • Passion for art while being actively involved in the art community.
  • Demonstrate attention to details while maintaining perspective.
  • Have working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, basic HTML, Microsoft Office Suite
