Seminole Hard Rock - Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Intern (Summer 2024)

Mission Statement: The purpose of this internship program is to provide practical experience, enable the intern to establish a professional network, and provide broad exposure to our organization to college students and recent college graduates to prepare them for their future career.

We are seeking a motivated DE&I intern to support the Diversity Equity & Inclusion and Global Social Responsibility (GSR) teams with program delivery, communication, and administration across all programs led by the department, including: DE&I training, Team Member Resource Groups, partners support, PlayersEdge (PE) responsible gambling, Save The Planet (STP), and Anti-human trafficking (AHT). 

1.      Administrative support planning and coordination, such a scheduling and preparing materials for

•        Property-level program elements, training and communications

•        Events and activations:

•        Invoice process and vendor management.

2.      Communications: Prepare and plan team member and social media communications, working with Corporate Reputation team; preparing written and visual content.

3.      Research: scanning practices and developments to inform updates programs 

Maintains the organization's mission, vision, and values; and upholds and operates in accordance with statutes, regulations, and corporate visual identity on documents, websites, and social media.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Planning and organizing logistics for training, events, activations
  • Any of: research, policy analysis, marketing, communications
  • General understanding of the corporate social responsibility field and related disciplines including: research, communications, project management
  • Comfortable working with stakeholders, expert groups and independent research sources.
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects
  • Cope well under pressure
  • Organized
  • Ability to Multi-task
  • Proficient with Micro-Soft Office
