Marketing and Business Development Intern
Position Responsibilities
We are rolling out several new initiatives:
- New Cafe Surry Hills
- New Product Range e-commerce
- E.D.M for wholesale customers
- Hot Baked Bagels for weekends
- Social Media campaigns
We are looking for someone with the drive to champion these exciting new initiatives with us. This role will require someone who can plan, organise and facilitate a marketing strategy, as well as the skills and creativity to assist in preparing a range of campaigns, ads and more.

About the Organization
Sydney's first true artisan New York bagel maker and bakery. Launched by a Brooklyn-born food journalist, we produce bagels using the time-worn traditional methods that have made NYC the bagel capital of the world. From kettle-boiling to hand-rolling, long cold fermentation and top-quality produce, we put our hearts and souls into our bagels. We don't cut corners, so Australians can enjoy bagels the way they are meant to be: chewy, malty and with the necessary depth of flavour.
On-site Supervision and Support
Our internships include 24/7 on-site staff to support students working and living abroad. All students will also report to a supervisor at their internship site. Supervisors provide and oversee daily tasks, introduce the intern to team members, and mentor the intern in organizational agility, skill acquisition, and career readiness. Interns complete a midpoint and final evaluation, and supervisors complete a final evaluation of their interns. All work responsibilities and projects are approved in advance.
Academic Credit
Students on an internship have the opportunity to enroll in their home university for credit, or enroll in a course through API to transfer back to their university for credit. Email support-internships@apiexperience.com for more information and a syllabus.
