Quantitative Trading Intern

Job Description:

As a Quantitative Trading Intern at Redko, you will work closely with our quantitative analysts (quants) and trading experts on various projects related to algorithmic trading strategies. You will have the opportunity to learn and contribute to the development and implementation of trading algorithms.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Quantitative Analysis: Assist in quantitative research and analysis to develop and optimize trading strategies.
  2. Algorithm Development: Collaborate with the quant team to code and implement trading algorithms.
  3. Data Analysis: Analyze market data and financial information to inform trading decisions.
  4. Backtesting: Conduct backtesting and simulation of trading strategies to assess their effectiveness.
  5. Risk Management: Assist in risk assessment and management within the trading process.
  6. Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations on trading strategies and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Programming experience in languages such as Python, C++, or Java is a plus.
  • Interest in financial markets and algorithmic trading.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
