Mechanical Engineer
Summary:
Apply mechanical engineering/product design principles to design, analyze, and integrate electronic systems for rugged applications.
Description:
Be responsible for all facets of the product lifecycle, concept to production. Perform analysis in the areas of statics, dynamics, mechanical stresses, shock, vibration, thermal, fit/tolerances, and manufacturability to ensure a quality product design. Create 3D CAD concepts of systems, select components, perform detailed design, document for fabrication and assembly, and coordinate with Purchasing, Manufacturing, and vendors.
Advanced coursework and/or experience in Mechanical design required. ProE/CREO experience preferred.
