Business Development Intern

Location: Remote

Job Overview: Discount Media, a leader in financial media with over 1M followers across our brands and over 100k email subscribers, is seeking a dynamic Business Development Representative. This remote role offers a unique opportunity to drive sales and growth in a highly competitive sector. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, working independently and directly reporting to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target potential clients in the financial media space.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve sales targets, with a commission of 20% on all sales.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and pitches.
  • Stay abreast of market trends and competitor activity.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and activity reports to the CEO.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in sales, particularly in media or financial services.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and digital sales tools.
