Civil Engineer (Entry Level)

CIVIL ENGINEER (ENTRY LEVEL) – Potesta & Associates, Inc., an engineering and environmental consulting firm, has two immediate openings for an entry-level civil engineer in our Charleston, WV and Winchester, VA offices.  This position will work under the direction of project managers and senior-level team members on various projects, including site development, stormwater management, roadways, water/sewer, permitting, and other related areas.

Responsibilities:

• Design tasks can include concept drawings, technical specifications, contract documents, maps, reports, and support documentation.
• Construction phase support can include construction monitoring and quality control/quality assurance.
• Communicate with regulatory agencies.
• Technical tasks can include calculations and data analysis to assist design and report preparation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering
• Recent graduate – 5 years of relevant experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
