Geotechnical Engineer

Geotechnical Engineer - Potesta & Associates, Inc. (POTESTA), an engineering and environmental consulting firm, seeks an initiative-taking Geotechnical Engineer for employment in our Morgantown, West Virginia office.  Responsibilities will include preparing geotechnical reports, construction drawings and specs, construction QA/QC, preparation of proposals and cost estimates, evaluation of laboratory and field data for inclusion in reports, and participation in civil engineering projects.

Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor of Science (or higher) in an engineering discipline (EIT or PE strongly preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in the management of subsurface explorations, slope stability modeling, foundation analysis, landslide repairs, commercial and residential construction, and roadway improvements/repairs
  • Effective communication, time management, and organizational skills
