Royal Canin Health, Safety, and Environment Undergraduate internship (R73887)

As an HSE Intern, these are some examples of the types of projects you may take on during the summer: 

  • Support Site and Regional HSE in focus initiatives
  • Perform site assessments to ensure safety and environmental regulatory compliance
  • Develop and lead safety trainings for Royal Canin associates
  • Perform risk assessments and help implement appropriate control measures
  • Perform on the job safety analysis looking at ergonomics and improvement opportunities
  • HSE Program Review and Gap Assessments
  • Assist in technical audits of the factory

 

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • We are looking for humble and hungry, agile students who have a drive for results, a desire to learn, and who can quickly build relationships. 
  • Students entering their junior or Senior final year of their program. Desired majors include Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Engineering, Safety Management or any related degree program.
  • We have internship opportunities in: Dayton, OH,
  • Open to students legally authorized to work in the U.S., without the need for current or future work status authorization or visa sponsorship for employment.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of drug & background screening.
  • Some of the positions available might be at a facility that process nuts or allows dogs and cats on site.  Please let us know if this raises any concerns so that we can address them.
