Site Contracts Intern- Summer 2024

Job Summary:

Our clinical operations activities are growing rapidly, and we’re currently seeking several full or part-time, office-based interns to support our Site Contracts team within our Site Activation and Maintenance (SAM) Department. This group plays a key role in the study start-up/site activation process at Medpace by communicating with research sites (doctor's offices, universities, hospitals, etc.) to negotiate contracts and budgets before the site begins to screen patients to participate in a clinical trial. The Site Contracts Intern will provide support to the Contract Specialists and Managers as they negotiate Clinical Trial Agreements, manage contractual timelines, and identify contract related risks.  

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the contracts team through quality control of documents, preparing amendments to the Clinical Trial Agreements (CTA) and budgets, maintain tracking regarding these documents, and supporting in the signature process
  • Gain hands-on training and exposure to the clinical trial start-up phase and contract negotiation process through our Site Activation & Maintenance (SAM) Training Program as outlined below

SITE ACTIVATION & MAINTENANCE (SAM) TRAINING PROGRAM

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma and pursuing Bachelors degree in Legal Studies or JD;
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office; and
  • Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week in our Cincinnati, OH office. Full-time preferred.
