Job Purpose:  To gain real world experience as a Corporate Development intern supporting enterprise acquisition and divestiture, strategy, and business transformation projects. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provided opportunities to work in key areas such as:
    • Acquisition and divestiture projects
    • Long-range planning and strategy development
    • Corporate venturing and external innovation
    • Enterprise project services
    • Enterprise business process transformation
  • This position provides learning opportunities and interaction across the entire company, including exposure and presentation opportunities to senior leadership.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

  • Must graduate in August 2024, December 2024, May 2025 with a major in accounting, finance, marketing or a related field.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently to drive results.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Effective in communications with senior management.
  • A pattern of strong goal setting and accountability.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and persuasive skills.
  • Ability to make recommendations with limited information.
  • Must be comfortable with the preparation and consumption of meat products; more specifically, pork, beef, turkey, and chicken.
  • This position will require access to and/or the utilization of a personal motor vehicle to get to and from the workplace.

Location and Hours:

  • Position is based out of our Corporate Office headquarters in Austin, Minnesota
  • Position is full time, 40 hours per week beginning late May and ending mid-August
