Business Intern – Clinical, Regulatory & Safety (CRS)
The Clinical, Regulatory & Safety internship is and entry level position which supports the work of multiple internal
teams. Responsibilities focus on learning and developing an understanding of the work done by the team and
providing quality checks for deliverables which requires an ability to prioritize and organize and work across multiple
projects at different states of the research process.
 

Responsibilities

What to Expect:
As a Business Intern, Clinical, Regulatory & Safety, you will:
• Manage third party vendors and the work they produce related to programming of questionnaires
• Fulfill key project functions: QC, opening invoices and POs, creating agendas and meeting minutes
• Support preparation of documents for IRB submission and notification process
• Administration, logistical support, liaison with CRAs working closely with monitoring team
• Special projects related to Clinical, Regulatory & Safety team
• Participate in adverse events training and submitting reports as needed
• Document all necessary information requirements set forth by ISO guidelines and Cerner Enviza SOPs
 

Who You Are:
• BA/BS in Clinical Research, Life Sciences, Social Sciences, Public Health or related field (course work or research
projects must be related)
• Team player with ability to work closely with others as well as independently
• Must possess strong attention to detail, multi-tasking and organizational abilities
• Demonstrate problem solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills
• Sense of urgency necessary to meet goals, objectives, and deadlines
• Demonstrate leadership abilities, accountability, and initiative
• Strong Microsoft Office skills a must, specifically MS Word and Excel

Interns are hired as Oracle Temporary employees whose full or part-time assignments generally range from a two-week
minimum to six months, with a one-year maximum. The company makes no express or implied commitment that your
temporary employment will have a minimum or fixed term as employment with Oracle is at-will.

Hiring Range: from $18.99 to $53.00 per hour; from $39,500 to $110,240 per annum.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
