Human Resources Intern

As an HR Intern, you will gain exposure and learn many vital skills to set you up for success in a human resources career. You will assist the HR Department in various tasks including campus recruitment, interviewing, orientations, benefits and total rewards, data management, UKG software, and employee training and development.  Our intern is not expected to come in with mastery of the responsibilities, rather it’s what we hope to expose you to this summer to help you find your niche passion and launch your HR career! 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the HR department in various functions including but not limited to administrative duties and internal recruitment activities.
  • Assist the HR team in organizing career fairs, new hire orientation, Firm Day, and other events.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for employees. This could include preparing training materials, coordinating logistics for training sessions, and collecting feedback.
  • Support the management and maintenance of the organization's Learning Management System. This might include updating user profiles, adding continuing education credits (CPE) and generating reports.
  • Assist with benefits reconciliation and administration, formal leave administration, PTO review including UKG and Practice Management system administration.

 

Personal Participation & Professional Development:

  • Create reports on the HR-related processes using Business Intelligence software when required.
  • Participate in team collaboration & propose ideas as they fit.
  • Help in creating and updating training content, such as presentations, e-learning modules, and training manuals.
  • Conduct and analyze research on assigned topics to assist with compliance, presentations, and projects.
  • Participate in special projects and other tasks as assigned.

 

Required Education and Experience:

  • Actively Pursuing or Completed: Bachelor’s degree in human resources or similar field
  • Min. 3.0 GPA
  • Working knowledge of MS office or other database systems
  • Excellent planning & Organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Must be skilled in Time Management and have the ability to work in
