Financial Planning & Analysis Intern

Position Overview: The Financial Planning & Analysis Intern position at Retina Consultants of America (RCA) is a unique opportunity to kickstart your career by joining the largest and rapidly growing retina practice management company. What You’ll Do

  • Assist in the monthly analytics and reporting procedures for each of RCA’s practices to enable leadership across the RCA platform to make informed and data-driven decisions
  • Support ad hoc analytics and reporting that span the entirety of RCA’s business model, including Clinical Research, Facility Expansion, Payor, Therapeutics, Human Resources, and more
  • Analyze financial statements, forecasts, and other financial schedules to look at trends, variances, and abnormalities
  • Collaborate with a highly capable and fast-paced team
  • Learn the fundamentals of FP&A, the healthcare industry, and RCA’s practice management model

What You’ll Bring

  • A vested interest in financial analytics, modeling, reporting, cross-team collaboration, and healthcare
  • A track record of academic excellence at an accredited university with a focus in accounting, finance, economics, entrepreneurship, etc.
  • Willingness to learn business and analytics tools such as Tableau, Workday Adaptive, etc.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office
  • A drive to deeply familiarize yourself with RCA’s fundamentals, best-in-class FP&A capabilities, and the ever-changing healthcare ecosystem in the United States
  • A curiosity that manifests through asking thoughtful questions, being engaged beyond what is assigned to you, and further developing your toolkit
  • The ability to think creatively about the FP&A team’s responsibilities and a willingness to impact change when given the opportunity
  • Service-oriented background to further the mission of delivering excellent patient care by supporting doctors in their professional practices

 

Start date & End date are flexible.
