Project Manager Bachelors Intern

Location:

This internship role is scheduled to be flexible. Please be prepared to spend part of your time working remotely and part of your time working at the following address: 4601 Dale Rd Modesto CA

  

Department Description:  Assist the Area Manager/Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in implementing new projects and initiatives for the service area.

 

Target Majors: Computer Science ;Business Administration;Finance & Accounting;Math/Statistics;Education;Public Health;Healthcare Administration;Data Science;

 

Target Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Self Driven, Excellent Communication skills

 

Job Summary: The intern will have the option to pick the project that will match their interest or is related to their field of education. Few examples - 

  • Reduce Readmission
  • Improve Care Experience
  • Patient Journey Mapping to Improve Care
  • Care Without Delay initiatives - Right care at the right time
  • Helping the administration team with access approval

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Contributing to a designated project or initiative to meet a KP business objective.
  • Project management - planning, execution, and measurement.
  • Learning new applications needed to complete assignments or support the execution of business objectives.
  • Job shadowing in other functional areas.
  • Performing additional duties as required.

 

Secondary Functions:

  • Summer Intern.  
  • This is a temporary position.

Qualifications - External

Basic Qualifications:

Experience

  • N/A

Education

  • Current enrollment in an accredited college or university program, or recent graduate.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

License, Certification, Registration

  • N/A

Additional Requirements:

  • 3.0 GPA or above. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to build effective working relationships as well as strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and experience producing high quality work in short periods of time.
