Summer 2024
Primary Purpose:
If you’re ready to build real-world experience while applying what you’ve learned so far related to the various functional areas of Human Resources, this is the opportunity for you!
Exposures:
- Accepts and leads designated HR projects to research, propose ideas and solutions, and present final project(s) during the internship
- Provides day to day support across various areas of HR (ie, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, HR Business Partners, etc) for day to day needs and activities. Examples include recruitment coordination, job description review and updating, etc.
- Engages with internal departments to carry out day to day responsibilities
- Takes a lead role in the coordination of summer internship program activities and serves as a point person for summer interns
- Provides suggestions and develops solutions for improving internal processes
- Learns and becomes proficient on internal software systems
- Gains exposure and has the opportunity to understand the overall concept of the company, including the business model, customer, goals, etc.
Education/Experience/Skills Requirements:
- Senior year undergraduate with a focus in HR, or Masters of HR/MSHRM student preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills, and written communication
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
