Description
The Derivatives and Capital Markets team is lean, highly visible, and is responsible for managing the Company’s hedging strategies, derivatives trading and capital market transactions. Team responsibilities include hedging the company's insurance liabilities by managing equity, interest rate or foreign exchange risks.
As an integral part of the team, you will use your critical thinking skills and driven mindset to solve real hedging problems, collaborate with our actuarial and investment teams to come up with insights for the Finance organization, analyze data to provide trading recommendations, and monitor the positioning of our hedging programs.
Hourly Rate: $22/hr
Location: US Remote
Work environment: Hybrid- 3-4 days in office

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Rising Seniors (Grad 2025)
- Mathematics, Economics, Financial Engineering Majors preferred
- Coding experience, preferably in Python
- Basic knowledge of derivatives instruments and models
- Willing to work in a high-impact effective team
- Able to work independently under mentorship of senior portfolio managers
- Able to work alongside different groups and departments to resolve operational issues
