Print Business Analyst Intern

The Team

Our focus is on printing and imaging technologies as well as pursuing broader alternative technologies and research with an eye toward commercial applications. We develop technology for printers that fit in your packet or fill a semi truck, printing pocket sized memories to billboard signs. We are defining the future of printing in 2D and 3D

 

Join a team dedicated to developing, manufacturing and testing cutting edge products for the next wave of printing technology! Positions include MEMS engineers, fluidic architects, design engineers, reliability engineers, ink development, writing system engineers, process and tooling engineers and product engineers.

Responsibilities: 

As a Business Analytics Intern, you will work with a team in our print organization to:  

 

Provide financial analysis for a function or business. 

Use advanced analytical techniques to extract insights and knowledge from data. 

Translate complex data sets into actionable insights that drive informed decision-making and business strategies. 

Apply business intelligence and reporting tools (e.g., creation of interactive dashboards). 

Utilize process mining tools to improve process performance.  

Works with the team to creates stories with the data using visualization tools/methods. 

Assures accuracy, integrity, and compliance of cleansed data. 

Develop an understanding of HP's financial processes and a working knowledge of the business. 

 

 

Education and Experience Required (Objective Minimum Qualifications)  

Pursuing a Bachelor or Graduate degree (with a graduation date between December 2024 and June 2025).  

Preferred Majors:  Computer Science, Data Science

 

Preferred Knowledge and Skills (Preferred Qualifications):   

Preferred majors include (but are not limited to) Computer Science, Data Analytics, and Data Science. 

Basic understanding of accounting processes. 

Understanding of scientific design and data collection methodologies, tools, and analysis packages to collect, validate, and analyze research data. 

Good analytical and problem-solving skills. 

Good business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Office suite). 

Good written and verbal communication skills. 

Ability to effectively communicate research plans, proposals, and results. 

Familiarity of industry standard languages such as Python. 

Familiarity of tools like PowerBI, and Tableau for visualization. 

Familiarity with digital automation tools such as SQL or Tableau

COL, NY, CA, WA - Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $20 - $30 hourly. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
