Human Resources Intern

The HR Intern will be responsible for providing HR administrative support to a variety of programs and activities relating to employees’ job descriptions, managing employee records, keep and update files, and prepare records as needed. The position requires the ability to multi-task, organize, and interact with the HR Department on a daily basis.

Responsibilties:

  • Will use an HRIS system to process address changes and enter terminations
  • Run Reports as necessary
  • Support in researching process issues and related problems and concerns
  • Assist in preparing for third party audits and ensuring applicable compliance
  • Assist in the filing of records into personnel file
  • The ability to assist in the planning and coordinating of events
  • Assists with the administration of programs, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company
  • Draft documents and presentations

Qualifications:

  • The ability to keep information confidentiality, tact and discretion are a must
  • Eager to learn and assist all team members when needed.
  • The ability to think critically and problem solve.
  • Solid oral and written communications skills are essential, as well as solid math skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience including soft skills.
  • Requires excellent computer skills coupled with proficiency in the use of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Adobe.
  • Must be detail oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong collaboration skills and excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
