Business Development Intern
Responsibilities:
Essential Duties:
- Conduct market research as requested and summarize into summary documents
- Conduct independent online research focused on selected health topics to determine partnerships, investments, and strategy
- Contribute to identification of potential business partners
- Participate in partner-facing teams to gather data, create presentations, and provide feedback to team
- Contribute to establishment and development of positive relationships including internal and external partners
- Contribute to and maintain our internal tools and knowledge base to have pertinent information at the time a decision is needed
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures and, if applicable, all company policies relating to IATF16949 and ISO14000
Qualificaitions:
Academic Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Minimum two years of college experience required.
- Prior experience in researching products, trends, and new market developments in healthcare preferred
- Ability to collect industry and consumer trends into a summary document and communicate to team members
- Ability to collect industry contacts found via online research into a document. If interested, can also participate in outreach to contacts.
- Interest and ability to work with senior clinicians in healthcare and other thought leaders in a collaborative and thoughtful manner
- Interest and ability to work across venture lab including attending meetings with potential healthcare investments, participating in healthcare focused projects for internal Research and Development and other partnership activities
- Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail preferred
- Bias to action and ability to multi-task
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Possess mental faculties consistent with performing at least the minimum essential functions of the job
