Florida Assurance Intern Spring 2025

Marcum LLP is one of the largest independent public accounting and advisory services firms in the United States. Headquartered in New York City, Marcum LLP offers the resources of over 1,550 professionals, including more than 200 partners, in 29 full-service offices in major business markets throughout the U.S., Grand Cayman and China. 

Interns will become involved with all aspects of the audit practice and will gain solid, hands-on experience. They will receive guidance and on-the-job training from the audit staff to assist with the detailed verification procedures necessary to perform examinations of clients’ financial statements. The position requires strong quantitative, analytical and technology capabilities. Interns must exhibit initiative and a strong desire to learn.

The goal of the internship is to give interns a clear understanding of all areas of the assurance department. They will be assigned client work and will be involved in various projects. Projects will be assigned on an as needed basis. Projects can include math checks, research, writing articles, footing financials, etc. They will leave Marcum with the knowledge of what will be expected of them as staff accountants.

Interns are allowed and encouraged to attend any subject matter training being offered during their internship. Marcum LLP offers 150+ courses per year, in house. Interns will also receive on the job training and may be required to go to client sites at times.
