Job Summary

Our Immersive Summit is a 3-day summer experience that will take place in our National Headquarters in Decatur, IL during the week of May 20. This program is for first-year and second-year students who have demonstrated a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and who have a keen interest in gaining further insights into ADM. During the program, you will be introduced to new career opportunities in agriculture and human and animal nutrition.
The Immersive Summit is a fantastic opportunity for first- and second-year students to explore different career paths and experience our unique culture firsthand. You’ll gain a deep understanding of how we work, meet our senior leaders as well as our former interns and gain meaningful real-world experience. It’ll be a high-powered experience right from day one.
Upon successful completion of the Immersive Summit, students are eligible for an interview during the fall 2024 semester for one of our summer 2025 internships.
Program Benefits:
First, you’ll understand how an agriculture and global nutrition company operates and the different careers available. You’ll hear about the day-to-day responsibilities of ADM employees in commercial, engineering, marketing, and other functions. We also want to equip you with the skills you need to start your career in these roles through workshops and professional development sessions. Ultimately, we want the experience to be valuable for you.
Additional Benefits:
- To make sure everyone will be able to join, we will provide onsite housing, food, and transportation to and from the program site.
Who You Are:
- Current First-year and Second-year students at a U.S. university, who expects to graduate between May 2026 and December 2027
- Outstanding academic achievement
- Involved in meaningful leadership activities outside of academics, such as volunteering, paid employment, athletics or campus clubs.
- Passionate problem solver and analytical thinker
- Excellent communication skills
Students who are in driving distance from Decatur, IL are strongly encouraged to apply.
Unfortunately, you’ll not be eligible if you hold an H-1B visa or use Optional Practical Training. As we are unable to sponsor visas for our Early Talent programs, you’ll need to have permanent work authorization in the United States.
