DEI Intern

Are you a talented and driven college student seeking an internship with a global Fortune 11 healthcare company? At Cencora, we are looking for individuals with an inclusive mindset and a passion for making a difference in human and animal health.

Our 10-week paid internship program has been developed to provide students with hands-on experience to learn more about the Healthcare industry and the impact to human and animal health.  This internship program will provide you with professional development, networking and volunteer opportunities. This internship program will provide you with professional development, networking and volunteer opportunities.  You will learn about the Guiding Principles of our culture but most importantly, have the opportunity to become a key contributor in the future talent pipeline of Cencora.

Start Date: June 3, 2024

End Date: August 9, 2024

Location: Remote or Hybrid (local to Conshohocken)

 

As an intern at Cencora, you will assist with various function-specific assignments under the guidance of our designated manager. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to established projects and initiatives while gaining valuable skills that will prepare you for future career opportunities within our organization. As part of our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Center of Excellence (COE) team, you will work closely with stakeholders to create and contribute to the development of new innovative solutions and DEI business partnerships.

 

As part of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion COE, you will:

Collect enterprise Global Inclusion Learning journey data, tracking completions and formatting results for reports and presentations

Assist in the facilitation of DEI listening sessions and discussions

Support post-training workshops for the Global Inclusion Learning journey

Assist in project management and lead execution for key tasks

Participate and collaborate with other functional and business leaders

Support content development for different initiatives and presentations

 


MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Currently enrolled in undergraduate school with an upcoming completion of a bachelor’s degree in human resources, psychology, industrial relations, or other related fields

Good analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills to evaluate business opportunities and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions

Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and leadership skills

Strong oral and written communication skills, and proven successful collaborator

Ability to activate ideas and strategies into tangible deliverables

Must be eager to learn, self-motivated, flexible, accountable and can effectively handle multiple tasks at one time

Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills

Intermediate MS Excel and PowerPoint skills   

Ability to influence without authority

Action bias
