Job Purpose

BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as a Finance Intern. The Finance Intern will support ongoing capital asset audit and month end activities as well as ad hoc requests within finance and accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in capital asset activities, interfacing with engineering to facilitate capitalizations, disposals, and on-site audit requirements of 4K+ assets
• Communicate updates to engineering and support staff for audit updates and asset record revisions
• Conduct reconciliations of journal voucher documentation for month end processing
• Monitor service invoices and prepare monthly entries to redistribute expense to corresponding departments
• Review for errors in cost center classifications and make corrections as necessary
• Provide support to finance staff for ad hoc requests involving fixed assets, site expenses and SAP documentation

What We’re Looking For

• Student pursuing a BS in Finance and/or Accounting
• 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 GPA scale
• Experience with Microsoft Excel
• Self-starter, attention to detail, organized, comfortable with competing priorities and deadlines
• Ability to interact with multiple disciplines to achieve finance directives in a fast-paced environment
