Internship- Corporate Roles

We encourage rising seniors to join our Corporate Internship Program this summer. Deep dive into a key area of the business and learn from experts in the field: Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Treasury, Tax, HR Generalist, People Strategy & Analytics, or Learning & Development. At successful completion of the program, you will have the opportunity to apply and participate in the Future Builders Program, full time in Miami, FL. We encourage all incoming Interns to understand Lennar and our Corporate roles through exceptional mentorship and leadership efforts. 


 

Responsibilities

 

Overview of Tax Internship Responsibilities: 

 

Tax Intern Program

The Tax Internship will begin with a foundation of preparing our summer tax interns, but will also have exposure to different software and functions of the tax department. They will need to understand the organization’s needs and expectations in order to draft memos, compute estimated payments, and undergo tax provisional work to control risks to the business. Preferred majors for this role will be accounting or taxation.

  • Studying at a 4-year college or University as a rising senior.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Understanding of business and management principles.
  • Thorough understanding of technology used in the company.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Must possess professional attitude to represent the company in a positive manner.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Physical Requirements 

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
