Human Resources Intern

AGCO in Hesston, Kansas is currently seeking a Human Resources Intern. This dynamic organization offers numerous opportunities, making this position an excellent fit for individuals aspiring to build a career in Human Resources.

Your Impact

  • Create and prepare HR-related data analytics dashboards.
  • Develop policies in digital formats, including a dedicated SharePoint page for our Collective Bargaining Agreement.
  • Assist in labor and employee relations matters, including investigations and handling grievances.
  • Provide customer support to employees both in person and via phone.
  • Learn and develop a system for tracking benefits, such as vacation/sick time balances, FMLA leave, and disciplinary actions using our HRIS.
  • Participate in organizing company events and career days.
  • Assist in developing a professional development program for people leaders.

 

Your Experience and Qualifications

Required

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Talent Management, or a related field.

Preferred

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Outstanding research and note-taking abilities, both written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management, attention to detail, organization skills, and prioritization abilities.
  • Previous professional or internship experience in HR or talent management settings.

 

Your Workplace

  • This is a paid, full-time internship during the Summer of 2024 at AGCO Corporation in Hesston, Kansas.
  • Housing and relocation will not be provided.
  • Summer internships run from June 2024 through August 2024 with the potential to extend to a longer-term through the academic year.
