Financial Projections

Sports Media is seeking a highly motivated and analytical intern to join our team as a Financial Projections Intern. In this role, you will work closely with the finance department to analyze financial data and create projections for the future of our company. This position is perfect for a candidate who is interested in gaining experience in financial analysis, modeling, consumer credit and finance education programs.

Responsibilities:

• Applicants must be available to attend meetings on Mondays at 9:00 AM, Wednesdays at 10:00 AM, and Fridays at 8:00 AM Mountain Standard Time.
• If in the Skill Bridge program applicant must be available to attend meetings on Thursdays at 9:00 AM Mountain Standard Time.
• Collaborate with the finance team to collect and analyze financial data
• Develop financial models and projections using various software programs
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations
• Conduct research on industry trends and economic factors that may impact our company's financial performance
• Analyze financial statements to identify trends and potential areas of improvement
• Work with other departments to gather necessary information and data for financial modeling
• Help develop budgets and forecasts based on financial projections
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving financial processes and procedures

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling techniques.
• Familiarity with industry-standard software programs such as Excel, Bloomberg, and financial modeling platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proactive mindset with a passion for learning and professional growth.
• Previous internship experience in finance or related fields is preferred but not required.
