Job Summary
Prevea Health in Green Bay, Wisconsin, is seeking a highly motivated intern to join our Human Resources and Healthcare Administration team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in both HR and healthcare. You will work alongside experienced professionals, learn about key functions, and contribute to meaningful projects.

What you will do

  • Assist with special projects, strategic planning, and budget preparation.
  • Coordinate student shadowing programs, support career fairs, and collaborate on marketing initiatives to showcase diverse career paths at Prevea
  • Provide administrative support to senior leadership, managing calendars, scheduling appointments, drafting correspondence, and preparing presentations.
  • Gain hands-on experience with recruiting systems like ADP, JD Expert, and PracticeMatch, participate in full-cycle recruiting, and shadow other HR functions
  • Attend meetings, take minutes, prepare materials, and assist with follow-up actions
  • Play a vital role in facilitating new employee orientation and onboarding sessions


Education Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a college or university program relevant to healthcare administration and/or human resources. Required
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher Required

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, while remaining calm and professional.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to speak one-on-one and to small groups.
  • Ability to gather information and formulate for reporting purposes.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, patients, public, external agencies, and senior level leadership.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable with work schedule
  • Ability to maintain and manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Technology experience, to include Office Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
  • Desire to learn about healthcare organizations.
