Not a morning person? No problem! The work hours are flexible, anytime Monday to Friday, 8 in the morning till 4:30 in the afternoon. We also have occasional weekend events to keep things exciting. Job Title: Graphic Design and Marketing Intern

Location: Hurricane, WV

Duration: Summer Internship, 20 hours per week

Paid Position

Overview: Mountain State Oral and Facial Surgery is seeking a dynamic and creative Graphic Design and Marketing Intern to join our team for the summer. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both graphic design and general marketing activities within a reputable oral surgery practice. The intern will split their time evenly, dedicating 50% to graphic design projects and 50% to assisting with various marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Graphic Design (50%):

• Create visually appealing and engaging designs for print and digital marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, posters, social media graphics, website assets, and email newsletters.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute design concepts that align with the brand identity and messaging of Mountain State Oral and Facial Surgery.
• Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines, maintain consistency across platforms, and effectively communicate key messages to the target audience.
• Manage and organize design files, assets, and resources for efficient workflow and future reference.

Marketing Activities (50%):

• Assist with the development and implementation of marketing campaigns, promotions, and events to drive patient engagement and brand awareness.
• Support content creation and scheduling for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn, to foster community engagement and interaction.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices in the oral surgery industry.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm creative ideas, strategies, and initiatives to enhance the visibility and reputation of Mountain State Oral and Facial Surgery.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a Bachelor's degree program in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Photoshop, with a strong portfolio showcasing design skills and creativity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Enthusiasm for learning and willingness to contribute ideas and solutions to marketing challenges.
• Fluent in English.
