Emergency Nurse Internship Program - Winter Haven Hospital - ER Internship

Emergency Nurse Internship Program:

  • Internship will be a minimum of 12 weeks in length. The first two weeks of didactic training you will be exempt from any overtime. It is recommended that Interns should not be taking any other programs or courses during the internship.
  • New grad (CNR) applicants will be required to attend clinical orientation two weeks prior to starting the program
  • Vacations / PTO's will not be approved during the first four weeks of didactic training.
  • There is an hours-based commitment you will sign for the internship program specifically to the unit of hire.

  • Winter Haven Hospital (Winter Haven) 

 

What You Will Need:

  • Current Florida RN license (may apply without license, but must have license prior to the start of the program) 
  • Current BLS from the American Heart Association
  • EKG competency is required before beginning the Internship. Taking an EKG class and passing the test is strongly encouraged. All Interns will take ACLS during the Internship.
