Business Development Engineering Intern
Overview
TRC is seeking highly motivated and diverse Business Development Engineering Interns for our Summer 2024 intern program. This is a paid full-time position. Anticipated duration will be from June through August 2024 (flexible). This position has the potential to transition into a Full-Time role upon graduation. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Project Managers and Team Leaders and partner with engineers, scientists, and technologists.
Responsibilities
- Engagement in business development role
- Assisting with client interaction, phone calls, PowerPoint presentations, proposal development, and database updating
- Updating opportunities within CRM environment
- Updating capture plans
- Designing, correcting, and implementing dashboards within Salesforce CRM
- Additional tasks as necessary
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Willingness to travel
- Pursuing Bachelor or Associate Degree in Engineering or related field
- Interest in business development and client interaction
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possesses strong problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, detail orientated person
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Honest, fun, hard-working and ready to learn and grow
- Experience with CRM software (like Salesforce) is preferred but not required
