The Accounting Internship is based out of our corporate office in Huntington, WV.

This is an opportunity to learn alongside a team committed to providing learning, development, and hands-on work experience!

As an Accounting Intern, you will have an opportunity to participate in the accounting and financial reporting cycle of a private equity owned company. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring certain expenses are properly recorded (Accounts Payable), as well as helping with product receipts, manufacturing costing and lite HR functions like new hire paperwork.  There will also be the opportunity to help the Controller with preparation of journal entries for month end closing.

This is a paid assignment running through the end of the Spring 2024 semester with the opportunity to become a full-time Staff Accountant up graduation and satisfactory job performance.

Position Requirements

•   Pursuing a Bachelor s Degree in Accounting
•   Attention to detail - able to complete tasks with high level of accuracy
•   Able to learn new software packages and standard operating procedures
•   Skilled in Microsoft Excel
•     High level of organization and ability to manage deadlines
•   Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with      other team members
•   Able to maintain confidentiality
