Process Engineering Intern

We are looking for a Process Engineering Intern to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to our Senior Manager, Process Engineering and based on-site.
Location: This position will be based in Newark, Delaware
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Create a system to identify non-value added time/tasks in a process
- Identify opportunities for improvement by eliminating non-value added tasks in the work elements.
- Work with the Process Engineering team to map current and future state Material & Information flow.
- Identify and close gaps for current and new processes expected in Q3 and Q4.
Skills and Experience:
- Working knowledge of PC business software applications (Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Highly motivated and a self-starter
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Must demonstrate a bias for action and implementation
- Proven and demonstrated teamwork skills
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or any other related engineering degree. And you are successfully maintaining an above average GPA, preferably 3.0 or higher.
- This internship is scheduled to begin June 2024 and end on approximately August 2024.
