Special Events Internship
The Summer 2024 Special Events Intern will assist the Museum Department’s Special Event team in administrative tasks for upcoming internal and external events (Conferences, Weddings, Exhibition Openings, and private Cultivation Dinners). Responsibilities will include aiding in scheduling with clients and vendors, maintaining and tracking expenses, preparing and organizing event materials, and contributing to the execution of various events mentioned above hosted by the New-York Historical Society. Throughout the internship, the intern will gain valuable experience in client–vendor relationships, strong oral and written communication skills, and knowledge of catering and the museum side of hospitality.
